Job Summary
Production Manager responsible for safe, efficient, and compliant production operations at the Worben site, coordinating personnel, machines, and materials to execute production campaigns with a strong safety culture; lead and develop on-site production team; implement KPI framework (QOTIF) and manage short-term workforce planning, equipment/tools, AVOR, inventory, and on-site logistics; ensure alignment with ISO 9001/ISO 22716 and cGMP standards; oversee OHS as on-site owner and drive continuous improvement through structured leadership and communication; requires extensive leadership experience in chemical/pharmaceutical/cosmetics production and strong English/German proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Technical or chemical basic training with HF/FH level (e.g. Process Engineering Technician HF, Certified Process Specialist, Production Manager, Head of Production Operations, or equivalent)
- Ideally more than 10 years of professional experience and at least 5 years of leadership experience in the chemical industry, preferably in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or comparable sectors
- In-depth knowledge of the manufacture of chemical products, as well as solid technical expertise in production facilities and production-related IT systems
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 22716, experience in a cGMP-regulated environment
- Training in PDCA, Six Sigma, ASGS, or first aider certification is an advantage
- Very good proficiency in Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- German (at least B2+) and English (at least B2+); French is an advantage
- Valid Category B driving license and forklift license
- Work permit in Switzerland
