Job Summary
Conduct daily production planning for multiple machine centers and supervise a team of machine operators and assistant machine operators. Rotate through key departments to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and workflow management. Assist in developing and monitoring production schedules to meet delivery deadlines without compromising quality. Support process improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to reduce downtime and increase throughput. Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings. Participate in daily production meetings and maintain safety standards on the production floor. Work Monday through Thursday 5:00am to 3:00pm and Friday 5:00am to 9:00am, with overtime required as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Admin, or a related field
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of OSHA and MOSH safety standards in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to multi-task and manage several different projects simultaneously
- Experience with evaluating subordinate performance and provide feedback to enhance work performance
- Proficiency in MS Excel, WMS, or order management systems for data tracking and reporting
- To be successful in this position, you must be willing to make a commitment of time and effort to become part of a team producing quality specialized packaging in a safe, drug free environment
- All positions require the ability to work overtime as necessary
- Core schedule for this this salaried exempt position is Monday through Thursday 5:00am to 3:00pm and Friday 5:00am to 9:00am

- Supervise all manufacturing activities in accordance with company policies and guidelines with regards to safety, quality and productivity
- Ability to manage and develop a team of skilled machine operators and assistant machine operators
- Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated commitment to customer focus, providing exceptional customer service
- Familiarity with manufacturing concepts such as Lean, Kaizen, or 5S/6S
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
