Job Summary
Production Management Trainee in McAdoo, PA, responsible for learning and supervising manufacturing operations, rotating through key production departments, developing and monitoring production schedules, supporting Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce downtime and increase throughput, analyzing production data for cost savings, and leading a team of machine operators and assistant machine operators. Core schedule is Monday–Thursday 5:00am–3:00pm and Friday 5:00am–9:00am, with overtime as needed. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3-5 years of supervisory manufacturing experience; strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; familiarity with Lean/Kaizen/5S/6S; OSHA/MOSH safety knowledge; and proficiency with MS Excel, WMS, or order management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Admin, or a related field
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, or 5S/6S
- Working knowledge of OSHA and MOSH safety standards in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in MS Excel, WMS, or order management systems for data tracking and reporting
- Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage several different projects simultaneously
