Job Summary
Production Management Trainee rotating through key production departments to learn manufacturing processes, production planning, and workflow management; assist in developing and monitoring production schedules to meet delivery deadlines; support process-improvement initiatives such as Lean, Kaizen, and 5S/6S to reduce downtime and increase throughput; analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings; participate in daily production meetings; learn to manage teams, allocate resources, and maintain safety standards on the production floor; supervise machine operations and plan the production schedule for multiple machine centers.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Admin, or related field
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Supervise all manufacturing activities in accordance with safety, quality, and productivity policies
- Ability to manage and develop a team of machine operators and assistants
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, or 5S/6S concepts
- Working knowledge of OSHA and MOSH safety standards in manufacturing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- MS Excel, WMS, or order management systems for data tracking and reporting
