Job Summary
Production Maintenance Technician II responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs across hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, metalwork, HVAC, electrical, electronics, and control/instrumentation. Works independently or with a helper to troubleshoot and repair equipment using drawings and reference materials, perform PLC and sensor troubleshooting, conduct equipment failure analyses, document maintenance, mentor junior technicians, and adhere to safety policies. Reports to a manager and may operate under lead personnel; requires HS diploma/GED, 8 years of related experience, and specialized certification. Must lift up to 50 lbs, access equipment in various positions, work in non-climate controlled areas, wear PPE, and accommodate changing shift schedules including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 8 years of related experience
- additional specialized training with certification
- ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- ability to access equipment in varying positions
- good vision with no color blindness
- wear protective gear including safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, and dust mask
- able to work changing shift schedule and weekends
