Production Maintenance Technician I - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Perform set-ups, adjustments, changeovers, repairs, and troubleshooting on Production equipment, including Decoration and Assembly lines. Execute routine and preventative maintenance such as replacing worn components, lubrication, and cleaning, while ensuring all work adheres to Lock-out/Tag-out procedures. Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues using lathes, mills, and welding tools to maintain production rates and quality. Communicate repair priorities to Shift Managers, review daily Work Orders, and order necessary parts to prevent downtime. Submit Kaizen Cards for continuous improvement and maintain a safe, orderly work environment with proper PPE.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Demonstrate the knowledge of the proper use of power and hand tools
- Ability to work safely and with minimal supervision
- Preferred one (1) to two (2) years' experience working in a maintenance environment
- Have a strong mechanical and basic electrical knowledge
- Basic computer skills and be able to communicate with email and write procedures
- SQF / GMP Guidelines
- Lockout / Tagout
- Pipe Identification
- Air Compressor (start up and shut down)
- Ladder
- Radio Etiquette
- Arc Flash
- Dresses for Safety with Long Pants and Steel Toed Shoes
- Must wear steel-toed safety shoes
- Lifting up to 45 pounds
- Frequent pulling, pushing, and lifting
