Production Maintenance Tech- RTC Evening Shift

Job Summary
Provide mechanical support service by troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, performing preventive maintenance tasks like lubricating wear points and changing blades, and tearing down and reassembling machinery for food safety initiatives. Operate production equipment as assigned while adhering to schedules and production requirements. Assist the maintenance team with all department aspects, support training of other associates on preventive maintenance, and accurately track work assignments, parts, and paperwork. Utilize diagrams and manuals to follow manufacturing instructions, ensuring consistent adherence to safety and food safety regulations. Work across the plant complex in varying temperatures and noise levels while wearing required PPE.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Must wear the required PPE to include steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hardhat, safety vest, gloves, and hearing protection
- Must be able to work in both teams and on an individual basis in performing this role
- Must be self-directed and focused on utilizing time efficiently
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the position
- This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of Butterball's Drug/Alcohol Screening & Testing Policy
Desired Qualifications
- General industrial mechanical maintenance and/or electrical system experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or similar area strongly preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
