Production Machine Operator

Job Summary
Set up extrusion production lines (extruders, vacuum tanks, haul-off, cutters, and printing) and control machine settings (speed, temperatures, pressures) to produce dryblend products. Feed materials to extruder, conduct online inspection for conformance to product specs (OD, thickness, markings, length, colour), and pack finished products. Fix issues during shifts, maintain output records and daily hourly checklists, ensure safety and housekeeping of the production station, and perform other tasks assigned by production leaders/technical manager. Requires basic reading/counting, familiarity with measuring tools (jigues, calipers, micrometer), teamwork and effective communication; willingness to work shifts; experience in extrusion is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent
- Experience as a machine operator in extrusion process is an added advantage
- Preferably with working knowledge in manufacturing environment
- Capable to use measuring jigs, calipers, and micrometer
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective equipment)
- Ability to read, and count
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Preferably to work in shift (morning & night shifts)
