Job Summary
Operates and maintains multiple machines on the production line to ensure products meet customer specifications. Sets up machinery for production, follows SOPs and GMPs, records line downtime with an iPad, and ensures sanitary conditions. Troubleshoots equipment, recommends improvements, and may provide coverage for Machine Operator I & II during breaks or absences. Requires 18 months of food manufacturing/packaging experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and 2nd shift in Beaver Dam, WI, with reliable, detail-oriented teamwork and strong English communication.
Required Qualifications
- High school, GED, or equivalent
- 18 months of food manufacturing or packaging experience
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work overtime when scheduled
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of diverse individuals within the plant
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to write and read standard information to fill out company documents
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure including pounds, ounces, and grams
- Ability to manage and operate multiple lines
- Implement and adhere to necessary safety precautions
- Work Environment: able to wear hearing protection
