Job Summary
Operate and set up production line on 1st shift for Line 4, ensure SOPs and GMPs are followed, make adjustments to run production efficiently, accurately record downtime, maintain sanitation, and complete required paperwork. Communicate with Shift Supervisor and Lead, follow safety protocols including PPE, and work with a team in a cold production environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, handle basic math for measurements, and be able to work overtime as needed. Location is Beaver Dam, WI in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- One to three months of food manufacturing or packaging experience
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must be able to follow verbal instructions from the Shift Supervisor and Lead person
- Ability to read and write standard information to fill out company documents
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply in all units of measure including pounds, ounces, and grams
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of diverse individuals within the plant
- Ability to work overtime when scheduled
- Must be detail-oriented and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Must be able to maintain paperwork and record downtime
