Job Summary
Production Machine Operator II at Richelieu Foods (1st Shift) operates and maintains multiple production-line machines, sets up machinery to specifications, records downtime via handheld device, adheres to SOPs and GMPs, and collaborates in a fast-paced food-manufacturing environment. Key duties include breaking down machinery at shift end, adjusting equipment for efficiency, ensuring sanitary conditions, following safety procedures, troubleshooting machinery, supporting Machine Operator I & II during breaks, and reporting quality/safety concerns. Requires high school diploma or GED, 18+ months of food manufacturing or packaging experience, basic math skills, English literacy, ability to read/write company documents, and the ability to work overtime; starting wage $18.50/hour with potential overtime. Must wear PPE and work onsite in Beaver Dam, WI.
Required Qualifications
- High school, GED, or equivalent
- 18 months of food manufacturing or packaging experience
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure including but not limited to pounds, ounces, and grams, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and temperatures
- Ability to manage and operate multiple lines
- Implement and adhere to necessary safety precautions
- Working Conditions: hot, wet/humid environments, hearing protection, 100% onsite attendance
