Job Summary
Operate and maintain multiple or more technically advanced machines on the production line to ensure products meet customer specifications. Responsibilities include setting up machinery to conform to specs, performing adjustments for efficiency, following SOPs and GMPs, recording line downtime, ensuring sanitary conditions, and using PPE. Must troubleshoot equipment issues, communicate effectively with the Shift Supervisor, and provide coverage for Machine Operator I & II during breaks or absences. Requires ability to read/write English, perform basic math on materials, work in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with a diverse team. OT may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 18 months of food manufacturing or packaging experience
- Must be able to read and write English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure including but not limited to pounds, ounces, and grams
- Ability to operate multiple lines
- Ability to work overtime when scheduled
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork abilities
- High school or GED or equivalent education
