Job Summary
Production Line Worker responsible for assembling parts (couplings, clamps, saddles), operating production equipment, ensuring quality and quantity standards, following safety policies, and maintaining records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires eye-hand coordination, ability to read/write, willingness to work overtime and multiple shifts, and collaboration with supervisors, machine operators, and other team members. Roles include assembly lines, machine operation, material handling, fabrication, and participation in on-site safety and Xylem Watermark volunteer activities. Emphasizes teamwork, adherence to detailed work orders, and contributing to safety and quality in a climate-controlled production setting.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of three (3) to twelve (12) months in a manufacturing production environment
- Ability to read and write and to follow instructions
- Must be willing and able to work overtime, as needed, to fulfill this job’s responsibility to the plant along with multi-shift operations
- Must have the ability to work with light to average weight materials
- Be able to follow detailed work orders, modify same through supervision or lead-person as required
