Job Summary
Weld, cut, and braze metal components on dump trucks, trailers, and parts using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment; read and interpret blueprints and specifications; set up and operate manual and automated welding units with wire-feed techniques; inspect welds for quality, monitor the welding process to prevent overheating or distortion, and maintain a clean, organized work area while supporting a production line environment.
Required Qualifications
- Formal apprenticeship or welding program completion
- 1-4 years of wire feed welding experience
- 1-3 years of fabrication with welding & layout experience
- 1-3 years of mechanical experience with hydraulics (preferred)
- HS graduate (preferred)
