Production Line Technician - 1st Shift (Zatarains)

Job Summary
Operate processing, filling, and packaging production line equipment while managing line set-up, product changeovers, minor repairs, and adjustments. Perform quality inspections of products and packs, including visual checks of raw materials, caps, labels, date codes, weights, packaging, and seals. Monitor work activities to ensure effective line operation, minimize downtime, and practice waste control. Process inventory control transactions using SAP, complete necessary paperwork, and perform allergen clean-up and daily housekeeping duties. Assist in training employees on equipment operation and company processes. Work on the 1st shift at Zatarain's facility in Gretna, Louisiana, under the supervision of the Production Manager.
