Job Summary
Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals while supervising, coaching, and developing production employees. Monitor production schedules, resolve efficiency issues, and troubleshoot equipment with maintenance teams to minimize downtime. Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to keep operations running smoothly and promote Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Conduct root cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and quality standards. Perform performance evaluations, support employee development, and cross-training. This direct hire role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with a competitive annual salary of $90,000 in Stafford, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience
- Previous experience leading production teams in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment
- Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs
- Proven ability to improve productivity, quality, and operational performance
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing leadership experience in HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, industrial equipment, or machinery manufacturing
- Experience with CNC-controlled fabrication equipment
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen experience
- Welding, fabrication, or assembly knowledge
- ERP/MRP system experience
- Forklift certification
- Experience with Flow Water Jet Systems
- Experience with CNC Press Brakes
- Experience with AMADA Fabrication Equipment
- Experience with Copper Tube Bending Machines
- Experience with Multi-Press Hydraulic Press Systems
- Experience with Sheet metal fabrication and assembly equipment
