Job Summary
Production Line Operator responsible for operating equipment in the cable manufacturing process, adhering to safety requirements, and maintaining product quality. Tasks include labeling and tracking material discrepancies, keeping the workspace organized for efficient, defect-free production, handling special projects in manufacturing areas, packaging finished parts, maintaining quality records, completing final inspections, and preparing Certificates of Quality. Must collaborate with team members to meet production goals and continuously improve processes, while following Health & Safety policies. Requires walking, standing, squatting, reaching, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; completion of high school. Experience with ISO 9000 standards and inspection/testing in manufacturing is valued.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school
- 3 years of experience in production processes using complex machinery is considered an asset
- Proven experience in inspection and testing within an ISO 9000-accredited manufacturing company
