Job Summary
Oversee daily operations on poultry processing lines in the Portioning department, coordinating workforce and workflow while ensuring product quality meets QA and USDA specifications. Monitor production efficiency, maintain clean and safe working environments, and lead team members through hands-on training and safety protocol implementation. Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and incident reporting to keep production running safely and on schedule. Control labor and material costs while maintaining accurate records. This promotional opportunity supports the department supervisor and drives production success within a family-owned food and agricultural business.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
- Able to stand for several hours
- Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly
Desired Qualifications
- High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required
- Lead or supervisory experience in a production environment
