Job Summary
Production Line Attendant on the 3rd shift responsible for packaging cheese per customer specifications, preparing packaging materials, operating and assisting in the setup of the packaging process (including machinery, date code printers, labels, and related equipment), performing quality checks to ensure packaging aligns with production sheets, reading and understanding production worksheets, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. You will rotate through all positions on the line, sanitize lines when needed, and enter data into production reports. The role requires adherence to GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and health & safety policies, strong attention to detail, reliable teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand on concrete, and perform basic arithmetic in different units. Required Qualifications
- Can consistently push, pull, and lift between 20 and 40 pounds
- Can work with frequent bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, and maneuvering around manufacturing equipment
- Can continuously stand or walk on a concrete surface
- Can work scheduled hours and required overtime as needed
- Display traits of reliability, honesty, respect, attention to detail, and punctuality
- Have basic analytical and numerical skills and the ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply) in different units of measurement
- Can communicate effectively and efficiently
- Have a working knowledge of Safety Methods and Procedures
- Are self-motivated, able to multi-task, can work independently, and as part of a team
- Are committed to food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate professionalism and positively represents and promotes Saputo at all times
- Ability to work in manufacturing environment with noise, temperature changes, and PPE usage
