Job Summary
Production Leader role on a 12-hour rotating shift at Mars Wrigley in Flowery Branch, GA. Drives safety, quality, continuous improvement, performance management, associate development, team engagement, and operating results. Builds an effective team, manages training and organizational strategies for ~15 direct reports, and leads staffing, changeovers, and on-shift incident response. Leads continuous improvement initiatives (AM/AWT/PM), troubleshoots process/packaging equipment, and ensures adherence to HACCP, GMP, and safety standards. Requires 12+ months in role for internal candidates, strong Excel/Word/office proficiency, and a background in manufacturing with leadership experience. Preferred qualifications include engineering, science, or technical background, and experience with sanitation, OSHA, and related concepts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- 2+ years in a people management or leader role
- Working knowledge in a GMP and continuous improvement environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc), internet software, e-mail
