Job Summary
Oversee daily production operations for beverage, ice, and dry ice manufacturing, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality output. Manage production staff, coordinate scheduling, and align production with delivery needs by collaborating with logistics, maintenance, and sales teams. Monitor output, efficiency, waste, and downtime to implement continuous improvements, while maintaining accurate records and enforcing safety policies. Coordinate preventative maintenance and ensure all processes meet OSHA, FDA, and local regulatory standards. Lead a team in the first shift at a Syracuse, NY-based company committed to reliability and exceptional service.
Required Qualifications
- Oversee day-to-day production operations, including beverage production, ice production, and dry ice handling
- Ensure all production processes meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards (OSHA, FDA, local/state requirements)
- Monitor production output, efficiency, waste, and downtime; implement improvements as needed
- Coordinate with logistics, maintenance, and sales teams to align production with delivery and customer needs
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Oversee equipment operation and coordinate preventative maintenance
- Enforce safety policies and promote a culture of safety and accountability
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production management (food/beverage or industrial preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Working knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety compliance
- Experience with inventory management and scheduling systems
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and drive process improvements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and work independently
- 1st Shift
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in beverage production, cold-chain, or ice manufacturing
- Familiarity with FDA food safety standards, HACCP, and OSHA regulations
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
