Job Summary
Lead and coordinate daily team activities to ensure smooth production processes, quality standards, and safety compliance. Assign tasks, mentor workers, and allocate labor, equipment, and materials to meet production targets. Monitor quality control, investigate issues, and enforce safety protocols while conducting training and audits. Identify process optimization opportunities, implement improvements, and maintain accurate inventory levels. Generate performance reports on productivity and efficiency, providing regular updates to management. Complete the AAON Production Leader Program and obtain 608 universal refrigerant certification. Work in a manufacturing environment with physical demands including lifting 50 lbs and exposure to varying temperatures and loud noises.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing role
- Strong knowledge of production processes
- Strong knowledge of quality control
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
- Proficiency in using production management software and systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain 608 universal refrigerant certification
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English language
- Ability to regularly lift and move objects up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time during shift
- Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment
- Ability to work in manufacturing facilities and regularly be exposed to varying and extreme temperatures, loud noises, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects and heavy forklift traffic
- Subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing
