Job Summary
Lead and coordinate the daily activities of a team to ensure production processes run smoothly, products meet quality standards, and safety measures are adhered to. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and mentor team members to maximize productivity and quality. Collaborate with management to meet production targets, allocate resources including labor and equipment, and monitor quality control processes. Investigate production and quality issues, conduct safety training and audits, and implement process improvements for efficiency. Maintain accurate inventory levels, coordinate with inventory control teams, and generate regular reports on performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing role
- Strong knowledge of production processes
- Strong knowledge of quality control
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
- Proficiency in using production management software and systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain 608 universal refrigerant certification
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English language
- Ability to regularly lift and move objects up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time during shift
- Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment
- Ability to work in manufacturing facilities and regularly be exposed to varying and extreme temperatures, loud noises, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects and heavy forklift traffic
- Subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing
