Job Summary
Lead and coordinate daily activities for a production team to ensure smooth processes, quality standards, and safety adherence. Assign tasks, mentor members, and allocate labor, equipment, and materials to meet targets. Monitor quality control, investigate production issues, and enforce safety protocols through training and audits. Identify optimization opportunities, implement process improvements, and maintain accurate inventory levels. Generate performance reports and update management on status and challenges. Complete the AAON Production Leader Program and obtain 608 universal refrigerant certifications. Work in a manufacturing facility with varying temperatures and noise, lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing role
- Strong knowledge of production processes
- Strong knowledge of quality control
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
- Proficiency in using production management software and systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain 608 universal refrigerant certifications
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English language
- Ability to regularly lift and move objects up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time during shift
- Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment
- Ability to work in manufacturing facilities and regularly be exposed to varying and extreme temperatures, loud noises, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects and heavy forklift traffic
- Subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing
