Job Summary
Lead and supervise production across all six tilting tables and fabrication crews, coordinating form setup, reinforcing placement, casting, finishing, and panel storage; monitor productivity, safety, and quality; develop and train the fabrications crew; read shop drawings; ensure schedules align with concrete availability; serve as liaison between the production floor and plant management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in construction, manufacturing, or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in precast concrete production or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 2+ years of team lead or supervisory experience overseeing production crews.
- Strong working knowledge of precast production processes including batching, forming, casting, stripping, steel fabrication, insulation, and finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, panel plans, and production specifications.
- Familiarity with safe material handling, lifting, and rigging practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse production team.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Physically capable of performing demanding work including lifting up to 50lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as required by production schedules.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License with reliable transportation.
