Job Summary
Operate SMT automatic assembly lines including feeder setup, tear down, component recognition, and machine handload. Train new operators and assist with skill development while prioritizing schedules to resolve material issues. Execute supervisor instructions by reading work instructions, inspecting task results against standards, and escalating production problems. Setup, read, and understand assembly sheets and notes. Requires knowledge of Panasonic and Vitronics equipment, IPC-A-610 certification, and ability to stand eight-hour swing shifts. Located in Newark, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of SMT automatic assembly equipment: Screen Printer (Panasonic NM-EJP1A), SPI (TRI7007), Pick & Place (Panasonic NM-EJM8A), Reflow Oven (Vitronics XPM3i)
- Basic to Mid-Level knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Minimum 3-year work experience in a manufacturing production environment
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
- Ability to stand in an eight-hour work shift with mandatory rest and lunch breaks
Desired Qualifications
- Basic to Mid-Level knowledge of ADP Workforce Now (Employee Self-Service Portal)
- IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies (certified)
