Job Summary
Process meat products using hand tools, knives, and machinery while supporting the management team with line operations and employee training. Perform essential production tasks requiring continuous movement, attention to detail, and the ability to work in cold or warm environments while wearing full PPE. Maintain a safe, efficient production line and ensure products reach families across America. This physically demanding role involves lifting up to 60 lbs and working long shifts, with overtime required based on production demands.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Willingness and ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to perform a task requiring continuous/repetitive movement, including grasping, pinching hands, flexing, and extending arms
- Ability to stand on concrete and/or platforms for up to a 12-hour shift
- Ability to work around animal blood and/or carcass parts
- Ability to work with a knife (if trained)
- Ability to work in cold areas (approximately 20-40 degrees) and/or warm areas (over 100 degrees)
- Ability to work in an environment that is wet and humid
- Ability to work while wearing a hard hat, hearing/eye protection, and steel-toed safety shoes
- Ability to work in a noisy environment using personal protective equipment
- Ability to work with sanitation/cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work around strong smells/odors
- Ability to climb/move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways and platforms
- Ability to bend, stoop, and twist repetitively over the course of an entire shift
- Ability to walk long distances
- Ability to perform repetitive overhead lifting up to 30 lbs
- Ability to perform single lifting of heavy objects which can weigh up to 60 lbs
- Ability to lift objects using mechanical assistance
- Good hand-eye coordination
