Job Summary
Production Lead responsible for guiding a production team to maintain safety, quality, and productivity while supporting continuous improvement. Leads training, evaluates performance, enforces safety and GMP protocols, ensures proper sanitation, coordinates line changeovers, monitors equipment operation, helps implement cost-saving measures, and collaborates with QA to meet product specifications and safety requirements. Demonstrates strong communication and leadership to create an engaged, team-oriented workforce and ensure adherence to timekeeping, quality standards, and production schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Food production experience
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Able to fluently speak, write and read in English
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to motivate others to meet company and personal goals
