Job Summary
Provide direction on day-to-day activities for the die cutting and finishing department to ensure efficient production. Monitor work areas, assign orders, and coordinate schedules while identifying process improvements. Author quality response forms, manage overtime postings, and serve as a liaison between shifts and quality personnel. Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and daily scheduling meetings to discuss priorities. Provide coaching and feedback to employees, assist with manning requirements, and resolve payroll issues as needed. Work in a production environment with moving equipment, requiring constant alertness and safety compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
- Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
- Must have computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of an ERP system
- Ability to effectively work in teams
- Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
