Job Summary
Oversee the processing of product through the entire process in accordance with internal and customer specifications while maintaining safety, throughput, yields, and proper staffing. Responsibilities include compounding, adjusting, and packaging blends of multiple ingredients, completing daily production reports, ensuring GMP compliance, and investigating accidents. The role requires a focus on employee training and development, maintaining team dynamics, and coordinating with R&D on product development. Knowledge of GMP and HACCP is essential, along with strong communication skills and the ability to interpret various documents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and/or 2-3 years related experience and/or training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift over 50 pounds.
- Must have at least 20/40 vision in both eyes with or without correction.
- Possess or have the ability to obtain a forklift certification.
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage team members.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to read and interpret various documents, including maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word and Outlook)
