Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of Paint Line staff, providing support on machine operations, troubleshooting, and quality control. Coordinate daily production activities to ensure work orders are completed on time, verifying correct color, texture, and grade for upcoming schedules. Conduct regular quality checks on painted products, address issues promptly to reduce scrap, and enforce safety policies while performing daily equipment checks. Monitor machine efficiency, resolve material-related issues with maintenance, and complete production logs and shift summaries. Collaborate with supervisors to cover staff breaks, track material usage, and identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years production experience
- Grade 12 high school or equivalent
- Able to lift 25 lbs. repetitively
- Familiar in LO/TO PPE and safety policies
- Ability to read and write English
- Proven track record in planning, organizing, motivating, controlling, problem-solving, negotiating and leadership in a manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Lean White/ Yellow belt or familiarity with Lean concepts
