Job Summary
Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality while leading and mentoring a team of production operators. Implement and monitor production schedules to meet deadlines, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards. Analyze production data to identify improvement areas and coordinate with maintenance and quality assurance departments. This role requires 5+ years of manufacturing experience with 2+ years in leadership, strong lean manufacturing knowledge, and proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schedules.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing
- At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate production teams to achieve targets
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in interpreting production schedules
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings
- Proficiency in interpreting quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
