Job Summary
Lead manufacturing operations across first and second shift teams, providing direction to supervisors and technicians while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of clinical campaigns. Own daily production performance, schedule attainment, and operational metrics by translating demand into executable plans, balancing capacity and staffing, and driving recovery from disruptions. Manage production readiness, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders for campaign startup, and lead tiered reviews to mitigate execution risks. Develop a high-performing organization through coaching, performance management, and succession planning while championing operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Operations Management, or related discipline
- More than 15 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar industry
- Minimum 8 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing operations experience
- Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience leading GMP manufacturing operations
- Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing execution
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving operational performance
- Valid Driving License
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field
- Experience supporting clinical supply manufacturing operations
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent operational excellence experience
- Experience managing multi-shift operations
- Knowledge of scheduling systems, SAP, digital manufacturing, and manufacturing analytics
