Job Summary
Oversee the timely and efficient flow of raw materials into high-quality finished products while ensuring equipment maintenance and repair. Complete daily logs for cGMP compliance and maintain clean, orderly work areas. Train plant personnel on preventive maintenance, daily activities, and equipment operation including forklifts, boom lifts, yard trucks, and back hoes. Adhere strictly to company safety rules, observe safety equipment protocols, and attend safety meetings or serve on the Safety Committee. Assist the Production Supervisor with special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent degree
- Ability to lead; assumes responsibility with personal initiative
- Detail oriented; well organized; ability to multi-task
- Required to cross train in industrial electrical, mechanical, welding and cutting procedures
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location
- Must be able to use senses to; effectively communicate with co-workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions
- Must be able to ascend/descend on a ladder
- Must be able to identify and distinguish colors
- Must be able to adjust focus
- Must be able to position one's self to maintain computers in the lab, including under desks and in the server closet
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office machinery
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions
- Must be able to work productively as a member of a team or work group
- Must be able to demonstrate commitment to effective customer service delivery
- Must be able to demonstrate integrity
- Must be able to competently perform all the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
