Job Summary
Lead and support coating-production operators on the 2nd shift to ensure safe, efficient production and high-quality output. Responsibilities include performing all duties of a Machine Operator III, training and cross-training team members, overseeing job setup and material verification, monitoring quality and downtime, recording shift data, maintaining a clean and safe work area, preparing PTFE mixes, rotating workstations, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring ERP inventory transactions are completed accurately. Requires HS diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs (team-lift up to 100 lbs), basic computer skills, and willingness to obtain forklift certification. Foster a positive, team-focused environment and provide leadership and direction to the team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior manufacturing or coating experience
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (or team-lift up to 100 lbs)
- Prior experience leading or coordinating a production team
- Experience operating coating equipment or in a coating/manufacturing environment
