Job Summary
Ensure the production line is set up and ready with all guards in place before start-up, verifying material availability and accounting for yield variances. Conduct all work requirements by company policies, enforce proper PPE and GMP practices, and hold employees accountable for rule violations. Train new and transitioning employees on their positions and Job Safety Analyses, notify maintenance or QA immediately of problems or out-of-spec product, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Complete all required paperwork and ensure timely changeovers. Report all unsafe conditions or acts to the supervisor immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Microsoft Office user (Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Basic math skills
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to substantially move wrists, hands, and/or fingers to adjust machine parts and computer operations
- Must be flexible to work hours outside of regular schedule as needed
