Job Summary
Production Lead needed to supervise and coordinate daily production lines for window and door manufacturing. Responsibilities include supervising a team of production workers, monitoring schedules to meet targets, enforcing safety and quality standards, training employees, identifying workflow or material issues, maintaining production records, and supporting continuous improvement. The role requires reading blueprints and work orders, strong leadership and communication skills, familiarity with lean manufacturing, and basic computer skills. Working hours are 5:00 AM–1:30 PM on weekdays with possible overtime and weekends; location is Vacaville, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience (Window/Door manufacturing preferred)
- 1+ years in a lead or supervisory role
- Knowledge of window assembly processes, materials, and tools; preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measurements
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles is a plus
- Basic computer skills (email, production software, data entry)
