Job Summary
The Production Lead at The Gill Corporation is responsible for directing daily operations of a manufacturing team to meet production schedules and quality targets. Responsibilities include ensuring safe operations, addressing equipment issues, managing crew performance, and maintaining accurate production records in the ERP system (SAP). Candidates must have a high school diploma, at least two years of manufacturing experience, and knowledge of panel fabrication and press operation. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential. Compliance with ITAR regulations is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with panel fabrication (lay-up)
- Press operation experience
- Knowledge of fabrication materials such as adhesives and prepreg
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Experience in interpretation of blue print work instructions
- Experience with mobile equipment (Forklift/ Big Joe)
- Understanding of MRP systems (SAP)
- Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
