Production Lead - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Oversee pre-op and tear-down operations, coordinate lines set-up, and assign personnel to work stations while managing 12-40 employees through training and direction. Review production issues, schedules, and specifications to prevent downtime, ensuring specification compliance and recommending corrective actions for non-compliance. Lead continuous improvement efforts, maintain legible documentation including lot tracking and quality checks, and interpret safety rules and production reports. Work safely on the floor 95% of the shift, with a requirement to eventually cross-train in all lead areas related to production and packaging.

- Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly to understand work instructions, safety guidelines, document issues, and communicate effectively with team members and leadership
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet be flexible and have the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds of boxes of product, bales of cartons, or rolls of film.
- Some facilities are multi-level and may require ascending or descending stairs.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual capability is a plus.
