Job Summary
Lead up to 40 people on the production line, directing operations with urgency while operating assigned equipment. Monitor product formulas, temperatures, and times against building sheets and Bills of Materials. Track waste, identify reduction opportunities, and maintain timely production records and daily logs. Perform final sign-off on production labels and ensure adherence to SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards. Notify supervisors immediately of any food safety or quality threats. Maintain good housekeeping, follow dress codes, and manage break/lunch schedules. Ensure all work meets specifications and safety rules in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to report and track waste and identify ways to reduce waste
- Ability to improve and create more efficiency on the line while keeping safety top priority
- Ability to understand mechanized equipment and associated dangers
- Ability to multitask and be detail oriented
- Ability to learn and apply First In/First Out rotation
- Ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within a required time
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate work ethics in the workplace and group settings
- Ability to maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
- Ability to perform assignments in accordance with established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures
- Ability to assure that all work assigned is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements
- Ability to demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within a required time
- Ability to ensure work ethic provides a positive influence on the production floor
- Ability to follow production dress code standards and maintain good personal hygiene
- Ability to be responsible for food safety and food quality throughout production
- Ability to notify a Supervisor or Manager when stepping off the line to ensure food safety and food quality standards are maintained
- Understanding of Quality Systems management and familiarity with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices
- Ability to follow all company policies and procedures
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary
- Must be able to read and write in either English or Spanish
- Must understand basic mathematical concepts
