Assembler I responsibilities include assembling millwork components such as exterior and interior door units, operating machinery like chop saws, preparing products for shipment, inspecting quality, repairing/ disassembling defective millwork, and performing routine tool maintenance. Tools used include chop saw, table saw, rip saw, hand saw, router, nail gun, screw gun, door machine, and various pneumatic tools. Safety training and policy adherence are required. Forklift certification may be required depending on branch; ability to perform basic math and read/write instructions is necessary.
