Job Summary
Operate basic hand and powered tools, assist machine operators and welders in shop setup, and move materials using overhead hoists and forklifts. Handle materials within the shop and outdoors, stack and unstack pipe adhering to strict procedures, and assist in loading and unloading pipe deliveries. Perform general shop cleaning and housekeeping while lifting up to 45 lbs without assistance. Actively participate in the company HSE program and adhere to all health, safety, and quality policies. Primarily scheduled for nightshift with potential overtime depending on scope.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 basic math skills
- Able to follow and understand both oral and written instructions in English
- Must be able to lift to 45lbs without assistance
- Active participation in the company HSE program
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Grade 12 or GED preferred
- Additional education past high school
- Forklift training or experience
- Overhead Crane experience and/or certification
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
