Job Summary
Assist with the production line by loading and unloading parts, feeding items onto equipment, and ensuring conformance to quality specifications. Pull damaged or non-conforming parts off the line, scrap waste material, and read gauges to interpret metrics. Clean, sweep, and remove debris daily while following standard work procedures and 5S practices. Work within the daily production schedule, taking instruction from supervisors and reporting problems as necessary. Requires one year of manufacturing experience, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and adherence to safety policies. Based in Santa Paula, CA, with a schedule of M-F 6:00am to 2:30pm at $19.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of production experience in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and effective control standards
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
- Knowledge of light equipment operation and/or maintenance
- Ability to interpret and execute standard work
- Ability to read, sort, check, count and verify numbers
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic
- Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 60lbs
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to familiarize and follow the 5S company program
- Ability to work independently and in a team when necessary
- Must be based out of Santa Paula, CA
- Must be available M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm
