Job Summary
Operate light, medium, and heavy equipment including forklifts, and perform complex repetitive tasks such as drilling, grinding, deburring, and assembly to exacting tolerances. Set up and tear down shearing machines and threading equipment, while pulling and delivering parts to the work center using pick lists. Maintain daily workstation cleanliness, perform equipment inspections, and utilize welding equipment or learn procedures as needed. Adhere to all safety practices and programs, and execute special projects as directed. Requires high school diploma, forklift experience, and ability to lift 50 pounds frequently; 3 years of Tesker Roll Threader experience preferred. Regular, timely attendance is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to push or pull a cart with 80 pounds of force
- Must be able to follow all appropriate safety practices
- Must be able to comprehend and retain safety programs
- Must be able to obtain and operate mobile equipment needed to perform essential functions
- Must be able to use welding equipment or the ability to learn welding procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Prior forklift and operator experience a plus
- 3 years experience with Tesker Roll Threader
- Intermediate knowledge of threaded operational procedures
- Able to use hand tools
- Basic mathematics skills and be able to read a measuring tape
- Basic knowledge in the operation of computer and computer software a plus
- Team oriented

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
