Job Summary
Production Associate assists in the production and packaging of plant-based products, lifting up to 55 pounds and operating pallet jacks and forklift. Works on 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday, 2nd Shift) with a 4-day, 10-hour schedule and full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, life and disability insurance, parental/pregnancy leave, vacation, and retirement plan. Responsible for GDP/Good Documentation Practices, sanitation, QA checks, inspections, and safe operation of equipment while supporting a new product line with a team.
Required Qualifications
- Be able to lift 55 pounds
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Be able to bend at the waist and reach overhead
- Adhere to and perform tasks following GDP’s (Good Documentation Practices)
- Perform and document Pre/Post Operational inspections as required
- Operate electric pallet jacks, Big Joe, and forklift
- Load/Unload trucks and put ingredients into racks
- Properly clean and sanitize equipment and infrastructure used in the production process (tables, mats, cookers, etc.) using the color-coded tools, proper cleaning chemicals and sanitizers according to the SSOP’s
- Accurately measure/weigh ingredients for production
- Perform metal detector checks during metal detection and palletizing of product
- Perform required Sanitation verification and environmental monitoring checks as scheduled
- Follow safety protocols and report safety concerns to management
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
