Job Summary
Maintain mill cleanliness and grounds, complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance tasks, and assist repair projects with maintenance staff. Safely operate equipment while following OSHA standards and ensuring ingredient quality meets LNC specifications. Manage macro and micro ingredient inventory and perform general housekeeping duties to maximize crew efficiency. Work a flexible schedule involving 10 hours of standing and lifting 50 lbs, with some winter weekends required. Forklift and skid steer experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to walk and stand for 10hours/day
- Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, extreme heat or cold
- Ability to perform general housekeeping duties
- Maintain safe working environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Some weekends required in winter months
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift, Skid Steer, Front end loader experience preferred
- Familiarity with FSMA standards related to feed production preferred
