Job Summary
Operate processing or packaging equipment in the mixing and packaging departments while accurately packaging, storing, and baking food products. Follow all SOPs, SSOPs, FDA, and OSHA regulations to maintain product quality and a clean work area. Hit and exceed daily packaging targets by performing checks on metal detectors, date codes, and weight systems. Clean, inspect, and lubricate equipment under the Autonomous Maintenance program and record inventory counts. Complete quality checks and associated daily production paperwork, ensuring accurate documentation at each step. Work rotating 12-hour shifts (5 am to 5 pm) in a fast-paced factory environment with temperatures ranging from 60 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand on your feet for an entire shift
- Valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Post-Offer Background Check required
- Drug Screen required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing/food manufacturing environment including the following: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF), Autonomous/Preventative Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, and Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP/LPR
