Job Summary
Line Cook at SSP Canada (YUL Airport) responsible for large-scale batch cooking of proteins, preparing sauces, soups, stocks, gravies, and vegetables, setting up and maintaining kitchen stations, rotating and storing perishable goods, and ensuring high-quality products. Requires experience in a full-service kitchen, English and French bilingual communication, basic math, and eligibility for airport security clearance. Shift includes Sundays to Thursdays; compensation is $23.04/hour with comprehensive benefits, meal plan, and parking. Must be able to work in a secure airport environment and obtain Transport Canada security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working in full service kitchen environment required
- High school diploma, preferred
- Verbal and written communication in English and French essential
- Food handlers permit, as required by law
- MAPAQ certification an asset
- Brand Certification, as required
- Ability to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance
- All candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada
