Job Summary
Production Kitchen Cook 1 responsibilities include basic to intermediate food preparation and cooking (washing, peeling, cutting, salads, fry, stock, batch cooking), assembling and presenting dishes, safe operation and cleaning of kitchen equipment, maintaining sanitary workplaces, assisting with inventory, and supporting the culinary team. The role requires adherence to internal controls and policies, willingness to perform opening/closing duties, and working on-site in Milwaukee, WI with irregular hours including nights, mornings, weekends, and holidays. The position emphasizes guest service, integrity, and commitment to quality, with competence in handling allergens and wearing PPE. Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3 to 6 months of related cooking experience are preferred
- The ability to successfully achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
- The ability to successfully complete Culinary Academy within 12 months
