Job Summary
Maintain building interiors by dusting, polishing furniture and fixtures, washing windows and walls, and sweeping, scrubbing, and waxing floors. Clean drapes, vacuum carpeting, and resupply restrooms while replacing light bulbs as needed. Ensure building accessibility and appearance by removing trash, emptying containers, recycling materials, and clearing ice and snow from walkways and parking lots. Document cleaning actions between shifts and note areas requiring additional care. Perform painting tasks and handle materials up to 25 pounds. This first-shift role supports Nidec's facilities maintenance team, ensuring a clean and safe environment for their precision motor manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year
- Previous custodial experience
- Verbal and written communication
- Time management and overall efficiency
- Attention to detail
- High School or Equivalent
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds
